- Hardware installation:
- Insert TF/Micro SD card into USB2.0 Micro SD card reader/writer, format TF/Micro SD card as FAT format by use the computer
- When a removable disk added, hardware appears has been installed
- TF card (Micro SD) is used to save the games and data, once your micro SD card is formatted correctly, you will see free space in the right hand pane, then you can begin from copying ROMs
- Place the loader:
- Copy loader NDS and TF system folder to TF card root
- Directly Drag and drop the DS ROM (Clean ROM Need) into the TF card root
- Copy the model and save from TF system folder to TF card root
- Unload TF card:
- After finishing ROM added, and then right click the removable disk icon on the right down corner of the screen, draw out the TF card from card reader/writer
- Insert TF/SD card into the R4
- Insert the TF card with ROM into R4, then insert R4DS into the Slot-1 while NDS/NDSL is power off
- Enter the new system of R4DS when users start it next time
- When NDS/NDSL is power on, the R4DS is booted, small loading screen will appear and then you will be taken to the main GUI within seconds
- You can select ROMsto run by the navigation keys or touch screen, press A button to enter the corresponding functions
