KB MPEG-4 CODEC

This product is an ideal tool for developing video server, consumptive electronic products and etc. It is compatible with ISO/IEC 14496-2 V1/V2 simple visual profile, advanced simple video profile and the video standard proposed by ISMA. It is appropriate for encoding with any rates between 10Kbps and 1Mbps, with extremely high efficiency.



Producer-side Products

KB Encoder

It compresses various forms of audio/video files (such as AVI, VCD, DVD) into SMO format, with various code rates according to users' requirement.

KB Live

It captures video/audio data from live source, and real-timely encodes the data, then sends the RTP packages to the assigned IP address. It can be used to live broadcast on Internet, or record video/audio data in streaming media files.

KB Editor

It simply edits the SMO file, including clipping and combination.

KB Converter

It converts files with WMV, ASF, MP3 and AVI formats into SMO files.



Server-side Products

KB Server

KB Server is a set of multi-platform distributed streaming media server system, based on broad /narrow band network. It supplies services either singly or by a large group of server cluster via system configuration.

KB SMO Broadcaster

It is mainly applied in Near Video on Demand system(NVOD)and digital TV station. It supports broadcasting of one or more SMO or mp4 files with the same specifications Timing playing on multi-channel (repeated playing one file, playing according to assigned times or playing according to assigned time)is also supported.

KB WEB Manager and KB Content Manager

KB WEB Manager is used to configure KB server-side products and monitor the running status of these products. KB Content Manager is used to add / modify content information to streaming media system and examine the operational conditions.



Client-side Products

KB Player

It supports ISMA standard and plays media files with various formats (like SMO, MP4, DVD, VCD, AVI, MP3, WAV and etc), locally or remotely. It can also be embedded in various browsers as ActiveX control to play media files.

Vlinker-2000 STB

It receives and unpacks media streams from media servers and outputs them in the form of video signal.
